Life of a Junior Assistant in Tamil Nadu Government - Fails

This is a series of the mini blog series of the Frugal life and the things you might face in the life in the department of Commercial tax (Now STATE TAX DEPARTMENT in STATE CONTROL).

  • TNPSC Recruitment
  • Compassionate Grounds
  • Transfers from another department.
  • Promotion in the Department - Lower cadre to Higher cadre

I am in the First category .As I joined the Department in 04.03.2019 in Sirkali, Commercial Tax Officer Office. The office looks old dusty but a good location. The luckiest thing to have is I got posted in home town. getting a Government Job in Home Town is a Good Thing. at once ut not good at the other things.

Day 1 Joined the department by checking certificates and meeting my Head of the Department in my District. I was posted in Trichy Division, Kumbakonam District, SIrkali Circle. So I know lot of shops in Sirkali.

Only Guy joined with me in the department. As we can do this of thing sitting ideally.The perks of getting a government job is you can eat at your home. if possible. depends upon the Head Officer.
Another perk you have the lowest traveling time if you are traveling 5 mins or 10 mins by walking me. You are a gifted man. Don’t go for higher things. Stay where you are you can enjoy your life.
If you want higher positing, study harder than anyone.

Let’s come to our second. I was sitting in the office. and there is some files they came and told me to read for further working. And they told what are my works.

There is an assistant Madam who is new joined, just before me, we chat little. She is in charge of my duties before joining.

If there is a vacant in one position they will put additional to other person for the seat.

So I took the Dispatch clerk seat and my other seats for working all the way to another thing.

I took the letter to be posted to the Head office for sanction orders. While they do the same thing. 

While happening in the whole new world or anything else.

I go to the post office to post the letters. Moving around.

 Remember, When everyone goes in one direction, dont Follow the crowd. Be Different, Be unique.
